Technological process

The glass bottle production process mainly includes:

① raw material pre-processing. Crush the massive raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.), dry the wet raw materials, and remove the iron from the iron containing raw materials to ensure the glass quality.

② Batch preparation.

③ Melting. The glass batch is heated at high temperature (1550~1600 ° C) in the tank furnace or tank furnace to form uniform, bubble free liquid glass that meets the forming requirements.

④ Forming. Put the liquid glass into the mold to make the glass products with the required shape, such as flat plates, various utensils, etc.

⑤ Heat treatment. Through annealing, quenching and other processes, the stress, phase separation or crystallization in the glass can be eliminated or generated, and the structural state of the glass can be changed.

Production Process

First of all, the mold shall be designed, determined and manufactured. The glass raw material is quartz sand as the main raw material, and other auxiliary materials are dissolved into liquid at high temperature, and then injected into the mold, cooled, notched and tempered to form a glass bottle. Glass bottles generally have rigid marks, which are also made of mold shapes. According to the manufacturing methods, the molding of glass bottles can be divided into three types: manual blowing, mechanical blowing and extrusion molding. Glass bottles can be divided into the following types according to their composition: sodium glass, lead glass and borosilicate glass.

 

The main raw materials of glass bottles are natural ore, quartz stone, caustic soda, limestone, etc. The glass bottle has high transparency and corrosion resistance, and will not change the material properties in contact with most chemicals.
